ALLEN COUNTY — Last week, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced two road closures in the Churubusco area — one on SR 205 and another on U.S. 33.
Along U.S. 33, crews will be painting steel bridge beams and replacing pavement leading up to the bridge. Work is scheduled to begin on or after April 1 and will continue for about 21 days.
Drivers should use detours of I-69, SR 3 and SR 205 during the closure. Carroll Road will remain open.
The SR 205 closure started March 29 and was expected to be complete by March 31, for pipe installation.
The road has been closed between McDuffee and Bryie roads.
Motorists should use the approved detour of U.S. 33, U.S. 30, Interstate 69 and SR 3.
INDOT reminds drivers that all work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
