CHURUBUSCO — One of the region’s most popular jump rope clubs is gearing up for a busy spring.

The Turtletown Turners will perform their annual basketball performance at Churubusco’s boys game on Friday, Feb. 22, at halftime. Also being featured at the game are the Churubusco Chimers, who will perform the National Anthem.

The Turners kicked off their performance season on Tuesday with a trip to two schools — Culver and Riddle elementaries, as the demo team for the American Heart Association and to promote Jump Rope for Heart for the area.

On the 28th, the group will perform at a Purdue Fort Wayne game, and at another school and the F.A.M.E. show in March. The group also performs at a Tincaps game in May, as well as other local performances.
